Autumn has arrived in Forza Horizon 5 Series 10. For the third week in a row, this week’s Festival Playlist has a Treasure Hunt to complete with a stack of rewards. If you’re struggling to solve the clue and find the treasure chest, our Forza Horizon 5 Sustainable Energy Treasure Hunt guide will help you out.
How to complete Forza Horizon 5 Sustainable Energy Treasure Hunt
The clue for this week’s Treasure Hunt is: “In Guanajuato, EV charging points are every 15 seconds but 100 are maintained.” This Treasure Hunt requires you to maintain a speed of 100 mph for 15 seconds in Guanajuato with an electric car.
To complete the Sustainable Energy Treasure Hunt, you’ll need to own an electric car. Like in real life, most electric cars in Forza Horizon 5 aren't cheap.
One of the easiest ways to acquire an EV in Forza Horizon 5 is by completing Drift Club Mexico. Getting three stars in all six events gives you Vaughn Gittin Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400. This drift car monster has 1,400 horsepower and a switchable drivetrain allowing you to select AWD or RWD on the fly.
The north section of Guanajuato has a long straight where it’s easy to maintain speed. Since the Mustang Mach-E has 1,400 horsepower, reaching 100 mph takes no time at all. Maintain this speed for 15 seconds, and you’ll unlock the next clue that location.
You can find the treasure chest in an alleyway east of next to some fruit carts. Here’s the location of the treasure chest:
