The Forza Motorsport Update 4.1 patch notes are short and sweet but very important if you've been finding issues around Daytona.
The Daytona International Speedway was added to Forza Motorsport via its previous update, but some players had been having issues with the new track. Those should be resolved now, though and we've got all the details right here!
Forza Motorsport Update 4.1 Patch Notes
While the developers didn't specify what was causing the game to crash around Daytona, they did say that this was during "certain scenarios."
One of the most commonly reported issues was when racers crashed into the tyre wall on the pit exit. This is unusual, but doing so reportedly caused the game to crash.
Update 4.1 is available for all versions of Forza Motorsport, so you just need to restart your console to install the update.
The full patch notes are short, so we'll show them below:
Version Number:
- Xbox Series X|S: 1.534.1562.0
- PC (Microsoft Store): 1.534.1562.0
- Steam: 1.534.1562.0
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- This hotfix alleviates crashes in certain scenarios on Daytona.
Turn 10 will work on Update 5 next, which will drop sometime in February. The devs have previewed what we can expect in this, with Car Progression, Forza Race Regulations and Drivatar AI being the three main areas of focus.
What about Horizon?
Forza Horizon 5 also received an update today and a larger one at that. The Lunar New Year update has rolled out and includes new cars, festival events and a whole lot more.
If you haven't checked out the full patch notes, you can do so here. Just like Forza Motorsport, Horizon 5 will receive regular updates at least until the next Horizon game launches a few years down the line.
Playground games have also added 13 previously added cars to the Autoshow as well, which is arguably the biggest addition with this update.
