Forza Motorsport is launching with a pretty stacked track list. However, thereās always room for more. The gameās first big update will be coming in November, and with it comes a little bit of F1 to Forza Motorsport.
Yas Marina coming to Forza Motorsport
Forza Motorsport will be receiving its first major content update in November after its October launch. This is according to an interview from IGN with developer Turn 10. The update will be free for all players and will include a returning track.
Yas Marina isnāt new to the Forza Motorsport series, so it was disappointing to see it missing from Forza Motorsportās track list at launch. Thankfully, the free November update will be bringing the home of the F1 finale back to the series.
Yas Marina will be seamlessly integrated into the gameās Career Mode. In the words of Dan Greenawalt, GM of Forza Motorsport: "In November, with our first big update, Yas Marina is going to be coming into the game...itās going to come into career seamlessly; if you started playing the day after it came in, youād never even know it was never there.ā
In the same interview, Greenawalt and Chris Esaki, Forza Motorsport Creative Director, revealed that more tracks will be coming in the future. This includes an unrevealed track in December, but fans will still have to wait for the track everyoneās missing.
Nurburgring Nordschleife not coming until 2024
Despite its popularity, fans still have a while to wait for the Nordschleife. The crown jewel of the Nurburgring, it was a shock to see the Nordschleife missing from the gameās initial track list.
Considering the Nordschleife has been in every Forza Motorsport game, itās disappointing to see it absent, especially with the Nurburgring GP Circuit included from release. In a recent interview, Greenawalt promised Forza Motorsport's rebuilt verison of the Green Hell "most accurate Nordschleife ever available."
We still donāt know exactly when the Nordschleife will be arriving in Forza Motorsport, but Esaki and Greenawalt confirmed it will be sometime in the spring.
Weāre hoping the wait for the Green Hell will be worth it, but for now, it sounds as though there will be plenty of other new tracks to keep us busy in the meantime.
