Gran Turismo 7 will be released on both PlayStation 4 and 5 early next year. We've been steadily learning more and more about Polyphony's next-gen sim racer since it was announced last year. When it comes to the circuits though, there are still a lot of question marks.
Thanks to interviews and trailer though, we can get a good feel for what to expect in March 2022. Here's what we know so far!
Confirmed circuits
Thanks to the pair of trailers, we have already seen quite a few tracks showcased in GT7. We've counted a total of 15 so far, with the lion's share being in Japan. Fan favourites from the real world like Suzuka and Fuji will feature in GT7 along with returning GT originals like the High-Speed ring.
The U.S.A. has also featured on trailers, with Laguna Seca, Daytona and the Northern Isle Speedway. We've had just one circuit from each of Europe and Australia confirmed.

How many tracks can we expect?
Polyphony CEO Kazunori Yamauchi has stated in a recent interview that Gran Turismo 7 will have all of the content that Gran Turismo Sport has. This means that all of the tracks and cars that GT Sport currently has will make their way to GT7 upon its release.
When it comes to circuits, GT Sport has 84 in its roster, and this includes variations of the same circuit. Most sources are claiming that there will be at least 90 circuits in GT7. There could be over 100 available, which would be a huge selling point for GT7 as that would make it the highest ever in the series' history in this regard.
Which circuits are included in GT Sport? World greats such as Monza, Mount Panorama, Silverstone, Circuit de la Sarthe and Indianapolis are all in there as standard. For a full list though, check out this article here.
Returning classics?
Gran Turismo creator Yamauchi also stated in the same interview that classic GT original circuits that were omitted from the launch of GT Sport could be making their return to the series. This is certainly true for the High-Speed ring and Trial Mountain will be in GT7.
This could open the door for the likes of Deep Forest and Grand Valley to return, but the developers have remained tight-lipped about this. Even if more classics don't return in time for launch though, we could see them added later as DLC.
Wishlist
We're certainly going to be spoiled for choice when it comes to circuits in GT7. That being said, we always want more and we made a wishlist of which tracks we want to see in GT7 here. We haven't heard or seen anything regarding these circuits yet, but that doesn't mean they won't make an appearance.
