A new set of Gran Turismo 7 daily races has arrived to keep Sport Mode players busy for another week.
While the Gran Turismo 7 June update never materialised, we are getting some big changes in July with update 1.49. Until that arrives though, players will have to keep honing their skills in the multiplayer races of Sport Mode.
Race A
Alsace - Test Course - 8 laps
The first race of this week takes us to the ultra-short Alsace Test Course for eight laps in the Suzuki Jimny XC '18. This one is a little different from usual as players can tune their Jimny to 420 PP or less. There is also an open choice of Comfort tyres, offering players the chance to tweak their ride.
There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for this race, and the 12-car field will use a grid start.
This race will not impact your Driver Rating, but your Safety Rating is being tracked. As it is a tuning challenge there's no BoP to contend with.
There is light mechanical damage along with light shortcut penalties in this race. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race B
Nurburgring - GP - 5 laps
The next race is a classic Gr.3 race around the GP layout of the Nurburgring. Players will be on the Racing Medium tyre for this one, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
The 16-car field will use a rolling start, so getting a qualifying lap in will be crucial to winning this race.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP, but players can make partial suspension and differential changes along with full brake balance changes.
Both DR and SR are on for this race, so keep it clean and be fast to avoid taking a ratings hit.
There is light mechanical damage along with light shortcut penalties in this race. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race C
Interlagos - 15 laps
The final race is a spectacular at Interlagos. We'll be doing 15 laps in Gr.1 cars, with a mandatory pitstop thrown in for good measure.
The only dry tyre available is the Racing Medium, so you will need to decide between an 8-7 or 7-8 lap strategy for your pitstop.
There is also 3x fuel consumption and 5x tyre wear to contend with here, so balancing wear, fuel levels, and race pace will be a tricky proposition.
Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP for this race, with only brake balance adjustments permitted. Once again both DR and SR are on.
There is light mechanical damage along with light shortcut penalties in this race. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars. This race also carries penalties for pit lane line cutting, so be sure to enter and exit the pits appropriately.
