As we approach the end of the month, Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed the Gran Turismo 7 June 2023 update is coming next week.
On Twitter, Yamauchi shared a teaser image confirming the update will add three cars to GT7’s growing roster. As always, the cars are hidden in shadows, but it didn’t take long for fans to identify them.
While the update will only add three cars instead of five like in other updates, it’s looking like a strong lineup.
Three new cars coming in Gran Turismo 7 June 2023 update
The bottom car’s striking silhouette appears to be the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
Essentially a race car for the road, the Valkyrie is the most powerful road car Aston Martin has ever built, with a Cosworth-sourced 6.5-litre V12 and an electric motor producing a combined 1,140 horsepower at 10,500 rpm. This is an exciting addition to GT7’s roster.
The Valkyrie is also driveable in GRID Legends, but GT7 will offer a more realistic representation of what it feels like to drive – especially in VR.
The remaining two cars appear to be the Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer EVO III GSR.
Gran Turismo 7 June 2023 update release date
Yamauchi didn’t reveal what else we can expect in the Gran Turismo 7 June 2023 update. There will probably be some new GT Café Menus and World Circuits single-player races, but we’re hoping for some new tracks to race on.
There’s no release date yet, but GT7 updates usually arrive on Thursdays. This means we can expect the Gran Turismo 7 June 2023 update to drop on Thursday 29 June. Polyphony will likely reveal the update’s full contents in a trailer.
