Gran Turismo 7 is still a few months away, but that hasn't stopped Polyphony Digital and PlayStation dropping some great trailers. One of the latest, titled "Collectors", gives us a look at some of the amazing historic cars that will be in GT7, and how we can go about showing off our collection.
Collectors
"There are many unique cars around the world with long histories behind them" Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi says, "I think the act of collecting these cars is another important side to car culture."
Car culture is something that was lacking in Gran Turismo Sport, where online competition was the focus. A return to being all about the cars is certainly welcome.

Before we break down the cars we see in this trailer, let's take a look at the locations the game lets us use to show off these cars.
There's a gallery where we can get some lovely panning shots of our car, but there is also a huge warehouse for us to store these machines. We see a Subaru WRX rolling out of it, and then a sweeping shot of the racks of cars we have picked up. Some are covered in dust sheets, others are uncovered for all to see.
From the James Bond DB5 to a pre-war Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 and even a military Jeep, there is some serious automotive history here.
Cars
We also get a glimpse of a few new cars in this trailer.
From the classic Ferrari 250 GT and 250 GTO to the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO and Pontiac Firebird Trans Am there is something for everyone.
With more than 420 cars in the game at launch, it's great to see Gran Turismo 7 give players a chance to jump behind the wheel of some true classics as well as all the hardcore racers that we are used to seeing.
Release date
Gran Turismo 7 has an official release date of 4 March, 2022.
