A new update is coming, and thanks to the Gran Turismo 7 server downtime we know when!
Update 1.14 is set to bring new cars to the game and hopefully plenty more as well.
But when will it drop? Let's take a look!
Gran Turismo 7 server downtime
GT7 updates usually come with a little warning. This time it was a weekend Tweet from Kazunori Yamauchi that first tipped us off to a new update arriving.
Now the official Gran Turismo 7 website has posted a Server Maintenance Notice, letting us know that the time for Update 1.14 has come.
The post reads as follows:
"At the following time, we will perform game update maintenance on the Gran Turismo 7 servers.
[Day & Time]
May 25, 2022, 23:00 - 01:00 PDT
May 26, 2022, 06:00 - 08:00 UTC
[IMPORTANT]
Please note that during this time only Arcade Race within World Circuits, and Music Rally will be playable. other online services like Sport mode will not be available and progress will not be saved.
Furthermore, the Performance Points (PP) requirements for some events may change with this update: please be sure to complete any championships within World Circuits that might be on hold before the start of the maintenance."
That means GT7 will be offline TOMORROW, from 7am BST / 2am EST!
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.14
Other than the addition of three cars, little is known about what will be in Update 1.14.
We don't think a new track will be included, as it is still very early in the game's life to be adding a new circuit.
There should be new events coming into the game, giving players fresh challenges and racing opportunities.
There may be a new set of Missions to tackle too, but that is perhaps being optimistic.
Either way, the trio of cars should be good fun. We know they include the Toyota GR010 Hybrid hypercar, which will be a blast to pound around Le Mans!
