Gran Turismo Update 1.27

Update 1.27 will land on Thursday 15 December.

After getting the awesome Road Atlanta recently it is unlikely that Update 1.27 will bring a new circuit to the game, however we are getting more than usual.

Kazunori Yamauchi's usual weekend tweet ahead of the update showed off FIVE cars instead of the expected three.

Cars confirmed

A recent post from Gran Turismo has confirmed the five cars we will be getting in the new update.

We have already got a glimpse of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, but boy does it look great.

The other cars will be the Alfa Romeo Guilia GTAm 2020, the Bugatti Chiron 2016, the Corvette C8 Stingray 2020, and the Toyota Celica GT-Four Rally Car 1995.

It's a great array of cars, and we can't wait to try all of them.

25th Anniversary content?

The December update for GT7 will cover the 25th anniversary of the Gran Turismo franchise (23 December), but the last update had the moniker of "25th anniversary" so it seems unlikely we will see much more content added to the game.

Perhaps there will be a fresh Menu Book to complete, but a new circuit is very unlikely.

Of course there will be the usual bug fixes and probably some price changes to both Legend Cars and the selling prices of cars.

We hope there is more though. Gran Turismo 7 needs to keep adding content if it is to stay relevant with Forza Motorsport and Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown both on the way in early 2023.
