After the last Gran Turismo 7 update increased credit rewards in response to fan backlash, update 1.12 is live following server maintenance. The latest GT7 update fixes issues relating to Brand Central and World Circuits.
Bug fixes for Brand Central and World Circuits
This is a relatively minor update that squashes a few bugs. According to the patch notes, update 1.12 fixes an issue with the Invitation feature in Brand Central.
Before the update, invitations would expire too early. Invitations from manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Ferrari will be sent to all accounts, providing you log in by 24 April. With update 1.12, Invitations are also now valid for 30 days.
In addition, update 1.12 fixes an issue where background music would not play at the start and finish lines of a race in some World Circuits.
While we were hoping for a more substantial update, future updates will add new features and content soon. Last month, Kazunori Yamauchi announced a “near-term" update will add the ability to sell cars.
New cars and course layouts will also be added by the end of April. Given that GT7’s updates tend to be weekly, we can look forward to these new features within the next two weeks.
In the meantime, you can find a more detailed breakdown of the latest GT7 update in the patch notes below.
