After weeks of waiting, we finally have news on the Gran Turismo 7 update 1.19 we've all been expecting.
Another teaser tweet from Kazunori Yamauchi has let us know that more content is on the way.
Gran Turismo 7 update 1.19 release date
While no date has been given, GT7 updates usually come through on a Thursday, so expect this update to hit in the morning of Thursday 28 July.
As always, three cars in deep silhouette have been shown but beyond that not much is known.
Cars
While the trio of cars is well hidden, we think we know what they will be.
The one on the left looks very much like the Porsche 918 Spyder, while the one on the left could well be the Nissan Skyline GT R30 Super.
The car at the back is a little trickier to pick out.
Our guess is the Maserati A6GSC/53 Spyder.
New events?
Hopefully the new update brings some new events, especially if we are getting some real classics to race with.
Fresh events with competitive payouts would be extremely welcome, as would a new track.
New circuit
So far we've only seen one circuit arrive since the release of Gran Turismo 7. That is disappointing, especially since they added the amazing Watkins Glen and gave us all something awesome to enjoy!
Since the addition of the Pikes Peak Suzuki recently there is some expectation that a Pikes Peak hillclimb will be added too.
While we would love to see that, there is no guarantee. We don't expect a new track to be part of the July update for GT7, as they take a lot longer to develop than cars. It would be great, but having just got one so recently it seems unlikely that we would get another now.
Bug fixes
Of course the new update will bring a lot of fixes too. There is still a lot of work to be done in the multiplayer lobbies and the stability of the online offering.
We would also love to see rewards for custom races be increased to match the payouts from events too.
