Earlier than expected, Kazunori Yamauchi has teased four new cars coming to Gran Turismo 7 in the next update, which will presumably be Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.25.
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.25 coming this week with four new cars
GT7 updates are usually released on the last week of the month. This was the case with update 1.23, which added the record-breaking Volkswagen ID.R time attack car along with the Porsche Vision GT Spyder, and Nissan Silvia K's Type S (S14) ’94.
However, Polyphony is bucking the trend as Yamauchi has confirmed the next GT7 update is rolling out this week. Not only that, but update 1.25 will also add four new cars instead of the usual three.
You know the drill by now. Each car shown in Yamauchi's Twitter teaser is hidden in darkness, inviting fans to guess their identity. The first car on the top right of the teaser image appears to be a Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, while the top left car looks like a Maserati Merak.
Below them, the bottom left car seems to be a classic 1970s Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R. Finally, the bottom right car appears to be another Mazda MX-5 Miata variant. Gran Turismo 7 update 1.25 is expected to go live this Thursday, 20 October but Polyphony could reveal the .
Kazunori hasn’t revealed what else we can look forward to in Gran Turismo 7 update 1.25. We may get new GT Café Menus, Scapes, and World Circuits events for the single-player campaign, but we’re long overdue some new tracks.
GT7 has been out for over seven months, but there are still several fan-favourite circuits missing – we’d love to see classic tracks like Clubman Stage Route 5 updated with GT7’s gorgeous graphics.
