A few weeks after the spectacular Spec II update, another surprise Gran Turismo 7 update has rolled out. Available to download now on PS5 and PS4 and weighing in at 457 MB, update 1.41 brings various bug fixes and removes a popular money glitch. Polyphony has shared more details in the Gran Turismo update 1.41 patch notes.
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.41 removes popular money glitch
Unlike Spec II, update 1.41 doesn’t add any new cars, circuits, or races. Instead, the hotfix addresses numerous game issues and removes a popular money glitch introduced in Spec II.
In Spec II, Polyphony increased credit rewards based on Collector level and Circuit Experience completion levels, with payouts increasing up to 400% for experienced players. This also enabled an exploit where you could race a modified Abarth 595 against a field of detuned Tomahawk Xs around Daytona to earn millions of credits.
Using this money glitch would earn around four million credits per hour. This was by far the easiest way to earn money fast in GT7. Unfortunately, update 1.41 removes this money glitch, so if you haven’t taken advantage yet, you’re out of luck.
Additionally, update 1.41 fixes issues with the GT Auto shop, Sport Driver Ratings, and controller vibrations. You can find the full Gran Turismo 7 update 1.41 patch notes below.
After this, we expect GT7’s final content update of the year to arrive in mid-December. Last year’s Christmas update added five cars including the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo single-seater concept, so we could get another Vision GT car.
