Hot on the heels of update 1.44, a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges is live. This week sees a new Special Event starring Lamborghini’s super SUV plus a hypercar-themed race at Trial Mountain and a special Vision GT event.
Here’s what you can expect in week five of Gran Turismo 7’s March Weekly Challenges.
Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges March 2024 Week 5
Gran Turismo 7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. You need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie to access them.
This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 29 March at midnight local time and end on 5 April at the same time.
European Clubman Cup 600
Blue Moon Bay Speedway – Infield A Reverse – 4 laps
This week’s challenges start with the European Clubman Cup 600, replacing the traditional Sunday Cup. This is a four-lap race around Blue Moon Bay Speedway with 20 cars on the grid.
You’ll need a European road car for this event, and while there’s a suggested 600 PP limit, there are no performance restrictions. With a 50,000 payout for pole position, this introductory event is more lucrative than usual.
Special Event - Lamborghini Urus One-Make
Fishermans Ranch – 2 laps
A new Special Event stars the Lamborghini Urus, which was added in update 1.44 this week. You’ll be putting Lamborghini’s hulking SUV through its paces around the Fishermans Ranch dirt track, so you’ll need to fit dirt tyres. There is no PP limit either so you can tune it up, with 75,000 credits on offer for victory.
Hypercar Parade
Trial Mountain – 5 laps
The next event pits you against high-performance hypercars in a five-lap race around the classic Trial Mountain circuit. You’ll need to enter a road car but there are no other car type or PP restrictions despite the hypercar theme.
You will, however, need to start Bonus Menu Book 44 to unlock this event. While you don’t need to complete the Menu Book, you need to reach Collector Level 35 or above to unlock it. Taking the win will earn you 100,000 credits.
Vision Gran Turismo Trophy
Autodromo de Interlagos – 7 laps
As the name suggests, this seven-lap event at Autodromo de Interlagosis restricted to Vision Gran Turismo concept cars. That’s not the only restriction: there’s also an 850-PP cap, making this a competitive race with 88,000 credits on offer for first place.
World Touring Car 700
Laguna Seca – 10 laps
Finally, the World Touring Car 700 takes place at Laguna Circuit. This long ten-lap race sees you battling against 19 opponents in GT cars. Racing tyres are required, and there’s a 700 PP limit.
On top of that, there’s also a 10x fuel and 13x tyre wear limit, so you’ll need to schedule a pit stop. This event has the highest cash prize, with a 110,000-credit reward for beating the competition.
As for this week’s bonus rewards, completing one event wins you a 6-Star Roulette Ticket for parts, while completing three events rewards you with a 150-000 credit ticket.
Completing all five events earns you a 6-Star car Roulette Ticket. Don’t forget you only need to finish in third place or higher in each event to earn these rewards.
Alongside the Weekly Challenges is a new set of GT7 Daily Races to tackle.
