A new set of GT7 Daily Races has arrived in Gran Turismo 7, featuring big reward bonuses and an endurance race.
As Gran Turismo 7 approaches its third anniversary players are starting to feel like Polyphony is moving on to its next project. However, if this week's set of races is anything to go by, there is still plenty of time and love being poured into GT7.
Race A
Tokyo Expressway - Central Clockwise - 4 laps
The first race this week takes us to Tokyo Expressway for four laps in the new Toyota Hiace Van DX '16. This van entered the game in Update 1.52 and is a firm fan favorite already.
Each player will be on the Comfort Soft tyre with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 12-car field will use a grid start to get this race underway.
Each van will use a mid-speed BoP for this race. SR is tracking your performance, but DR is off so your finishing place won't impact that part of your ranking.
There is light mechanical damage in this race, along with light penalties for shortcuts and wall riding. You will also get penalized for being overly physical with other vans.
Race B
Sardegna Road Track - A - 5 laps
Race B has a +600% boost to rewards this week, making it a lucrative race to win. Players will be taking Gr.3 cars around the shorter A layout of Sardegna's road course.
All cars will be on Racing Medium tyres, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 16-car field will use a rolling start so qualifying is important here.
Each car will use a high-speed BoP, with the only permitted change being brake balance adjustments. Both DR and SR are tracking your performance in this race.
As usual there is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars and the walls.
Race C
Spa - 24 laps
It's an endurance week as we head to Spa for 24 laps of Gr.2 racing. This race includes a 2x tyre wear and 1x fuel consumption setting with one mandatory pitstop.
The only dry tyre players are allowed is the Racing Medium, so making it last 12 laps will be crucial to minimizing your overall race time. The 16-car field will use a rolling start. While there is plenty of time to make up for starting at the back, qualifying at the front will keep you out of the usual first-lap mess.
Each car will use a high-speed BoP, with players only allowed to adjust brake balance. DR and SR are tracking you once again, so keep it clean.
There is light mechanical damage and light shortcut penalties as well as penalties for collisions with other cars. As mentioned, there is a mandatory pitstop and you will be penalised if you cut the pit lane lines on entry or exit.
