Ahead of this week’s monthly update, it’s time for a new set of GT7 races to attack.
This week we’re heading to the glorious Goodwood Motor Circuit for the unranked race before switching to Gr.4 and Gr.3 cars on two fan-favourite circuits.
Let’s find out what’s in store for Gran Turismo 7 Sport players in GT7 Daily Races 22 May.
Race A
Goodwood Motor Circuit - 4 Laps
This week's unranked race takes us to the glorious Goodwood Motor Circuit for a six-lap race in the legendary BMW M3 E30 ‘89. This 12-car grid race has a rolling start with mandatory Comfort Sport tyres.
There is 1x fuel consumption and 1x tyre wear for this race.
Mid-speed BoP is enabled for all players and your performance won’t affect your driver or safety rating.
There is light mechanical damage along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions and pit lane cutting.
Race B
Deep Forest Raceway - 5 Laps
Race B takes place at the fan-favourite Deep Forest in Gr.4 cars. With 16 cars on the grid, this race has a rolling start and you’ll be racing on Racing Medium, Intermediate or Wet tyres.
Fuel consumption and tyre wear are set to 1x in this race.
Mid-speed BoP tune is applied to all players, and there is light mechanical damage, shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions. Be aware that your DR and SR are affected in this race, so try to avoid contact at all costs.
Race C
Nurburgring 24h - 13 laps
This week's final race takes us to the world-famous Nurburgring 24h circuit for a high-stakes race in Gr.3 cars.
Once again, the 16-car field has a rolling start. As for tyres, Racing Hard, Intermediate and Wet tyres are mandatory for this race, so you’ll need to make a pit stop.
Like Race A and B, there is 1x fuel consumption and 1x tyre wear, so you don’t need to worry about preserving your tyres.
This time, players will use a high-speed BoP tune and your performance will affect DR & SR.
Light mechanical damage is enabled along with light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars and pit lane cutting.
Gran Turismo 7 May update
Gran Turissmo's next monthly update is just around the corner. On Twitter, Kaz confirmed the GT7 May update is set to include three new cars, but there will hopefully be some other surprises.
We're long overdue for a new circuit to race on after Grand Valley Highway was added to the roster in February.
