A new week brings new races to Gran Turismo 7 in the shape of the GT7 Daily Races 26 June. This week's trio sees a brief stop in Europe before we head state-side for two races.
This week's American flavour is likely due to the 4th July celebrations that will be happening in the USA this weekend, but when you are visiting two epic tracks and driving an iconic car who can complain?!
There's also an update hitting GT7 this week, so it's a busy time for PlayStation's flagship racing title.
Race A
Sardegna - Road Track C - 5 laps
The first race of the week is an unranked blast around the Sardegna C track in the Dodge Viper GTS '13. The 12-car field will use a grid start.
Everyone will be using the Sports Hard tyre and there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
A low-speed BoP will be applied to every car, with both DR and SR switched off for the race.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions.
Race B
Laguna Seca - 6 laps
The first ranked race of the week will take us to the iconic Laguna Seca for a six-lap race in Gr.4 cars. The 16-car field will use a rolling start and there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Everyone will be using the Racing Soft tyre, so there will be plenty of grip to get you around the circuit.
Once again a low-speed tune will be applied to every car, but DR and SR will be affected by your performance in this race.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions.
Race C
Watkins Glen - 10 laps
For the final race of the week we are heading to the glorious Watkins Glen for a 10-lap race in Gr.3 cars. The 16-car field will use a rolling start, and you will have to make a pitstop in this one.
The Racing Hard and Racing Soft are mandatory compounds in this race, where there is 1x fuel consumption and 6x tyre wear.
A mid-speed BoP will be applied to every car, and of course DR & SR will be affected by your performance in this race. There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions.
There are also penalties for pit lane line cutting, so be sure to stay on the correct side of the line!
Update 1.35
Three new cars are coming to Gran Turismo 7 this week in what should be labelled update 1.35.
The usual teaser tweet from Kazunori Yamauchi gave fans a hint at the cars, and it included something very special. While there will be people pleased to see the Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer EVO III GSR, the headline must go to the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
The Valkyrie is the most powerful road car Aston Martin has ever built, with a Cosworth-sourced 6.5-litre V12 and an electric motor producing a combined 1,140 horsepower at 10,500 rpm.
The update should arrive on Thursday 29 June, and we'll get a bit more information later this week too. Three cars is a little light for a GT7 update, so maybe there will be more as well.
