GT7 Daily Races 3 April: New car, new layout

Monday means it is time for the GT7 Daily Races 3 April! This week sees players head to three classic Gran Turismo locations to do some racing.

In the aftermath of Update 1.31 there are new physics to get used to while we are also using one of the new cars and one of the new layouts added to the game.

So what does Sport Mode have in store for players this week? Let's find out!

Race A

Tsukuba - 6 laps

The unranked race this week is an epic blast around Tsukuba in the Mazda3 '19 which is new to Gran Turismo 7. Players will be using the comfort soft tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.

A low-speed BoP will be applied to every car, and neither DR or SR will be impacted by your performance in this race.

There is light mechanical damage and normal track limits, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.

Race B

Nurburgring - Sprint - 6 laps

It's a trip to the new Sprint layout of the Nurburgring in the first ranked race of the week. Everyone will be in Gr.4 cars, using the Racing Hard tyres. There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.

A mid-speed BoP will be used for all drivers, with both DR & SR getting affected by your racing.

There is light mechanical damage and normal track limits, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.

Race C

Watkins Glen - Long Course - 12 laps

The final race this week takes us to the wonderful Watkins Glen for 12 laps of Gr.3 racing.

Players will be on the Racing Hard tyre with 2x fuel consumption and 6x tyre wear. There is no mandatory stop in this race, but with that high wear it may well be quicker to pit midway through for fresh boots.

There is a mid-speed BoP in use for this race, along with a rolling start for the 16-car pack.

There is light mechanical damage and normal track limits, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions. You can also be penalised for pit lane line cutting so if you do come in then be careful!
