Honda's official esports competition, the Honda Racing eMS, is back with a third season in 2025 that is once again being hosted on Gran Turismo 7. Since its start in 2023, the Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has grown quickly, attracting more than 400,000 participants across its first two editions.
Gran Turismo 7 Hosts Honda Racing eMS Season 3

The Honda Racing eMS Season 3 will be hosted in Gran Turismo 7, and it introduces a fully global format. Instead of a single live final, there will be three online finals in December, split by region: Asia-Oceania, North America/Latin America, and Europe/Middle East/Africa.
Each final will crown its own champion on December 6 and 7. Nine qualifying spots remain in the Asia-Oceania final, which will automatically be secured by the current 2024 champion, Takuma Sasaki.
Qualifying will take place through a hot lap event in Gran Turismo 7's Sport Mode. Players will be driving around in the Honda NSX Concept-GT '16 in a special Honda Racing eMS livery. The event will start on August 29, after the 1.62 game update, and run till September 28.
While anyone aged seven and above is allowed to set a lap time, in most regions, only people aged 18 and above are allowed, with higher limits in South Korea, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

After the immense success of the 2023 and 2024 events that drew over 200,000 competitors each, high participation is expected for Season 3. In addition to the standard credit prizes associated with time trials, all players who record a time will receive the Honda NSX Concept-GT '16 with its event livery as an in-game reward to promote participation.
Additionally, Honda has also confirmed that well-known Japanese VTuber Inugami Korone will return as the event's ambassador, bringing the thrill of virtual motorsports to a larger audience.
With the third season of Honda Racing eMS, Gran Turismo 7 promises to build on its growing popularity and offer its players another chance to compete for regional glory.
