How To Change To Manual in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is finally here and players are loving the Hong Kong map, but how do you switch to manual?

When you first load into the game, TDU Solar Crown puts you into automatic. It doesn't matter if you have a wheel hooked up or not. So here is how you can switch to manual and get full control of your car as you speed around this wonderful game.

How to Change to Manual

The option to switch to manual is hidden deep in the game and can be frustrating to find.

to change to manual you need to pause the game and then hit RB/R1 to go to the "Cars" tab. Here you can select "Driving Assists" and from that menu you can change from semi-automatic to manual.

Once saved this will be your setting for every car you drive, so there is no need to go back into the settings again unless you want to change back to automatic.

If you want to bind a clutch button you can do so by going back to the pause menu and then selecting "Options", scrolling to "Controls" and then scrolling down the list of bindings until you reach "Clutch".

You should only bind a clutch if you are using a three-pedal setup with a wheel and H-pattern shifter. But you can do it on a controller if you are feeling adventurous!
