Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure is out now. There are several new disciplines to master, but we’ll show you how to join a rally team in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure.
There are three teams to choose from in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, but what's the difference between each team? We've got all the info you need to know right here.
How to join a rally team in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure sees you race for several rally teams and work your way up to enter the final Badlands Goliath tournament and become a rally champion.
There are three rally teams to choose from in Rally Adventure: Horizon Raptors, Apex Predators, and Grit Reapers.
You’ll be getting your tyres dirty in the Horizon Raptors team. Run by team captain Alex, these events feature mixed surfaces and dirt tracks for a classic rally experience.
Apex Predators is run by Ale. These road rallies take place on fast, tight, and technical circuits featuring asphalt.
Finally, Rami’s Ramiro team focuses on night rallies. With less visibility and unpredictable weather conditions, these events are more challenging and will put your skills to the test.
Each team contains eight races that unlock as you rank up, culminating with a boss race against the team captain. There are also additional challenges such as completing Danger Signs and Speed Zones that earn you more rep to rank up faster.
When you first start your journey in Rally Adventure, you can’t choose a rally team. The first three events introduce you to all three teams, giving you a taste of each racing discipline.
After completing the first three events, you will be prompted to join a rally team. You can choose any team you like, but we recommend starting with Horizon Raptors. These dirt events are easier than the tight and technical road rallies in Apex Predators and night-time stages in Grit Reapers.
Press the A button on the Xbox controller to choose your team. Once you’ve earned enough reputation points, you can unlock and join other teams as you progress.
Is Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure worth buying?
It's fair to say we have mixed feelings about Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure.
The map of Sierra Nueva is fun to explore and the rally events bring a new experience to Forza Horizon 5 with pace notes and split gates. It's not a serious rally game like WRC or DIRT Rally, but it's probably the closest we'll get to a new Sega Rally or Rallisport Challenge.
However, we felt the environment looks too similar to the main Mexico map and the car list leaves a lot to be desired. As the final expansion for Forza Horizon 5, Rally Adventure falls short of its potential overall.
