Gran Turismo 7 has been out for a few weeks now and we don't see any signs of it slowing down! GT7 has been a revelation for sim racing and we love it.
There are a lot of cool features in GT7, but is Virtual Reality one of them? We've got everything you need to know about VR on GT7 right here!
No VR support yet
Sadly, as of the time of writing, Gran Turismo 7 doesn't have VR support.
However, it's not all doom and gloom for VR lovers, as you can enjoy the PSVR on another Gran Turismo game. Gran Turismo Sport has full VR support, and you can check out how to set the system up right here.
Could this change in the future?
Gran Turismo games have a very long life cycle. For example, Gran Turismo Sport was the only GT game to be released solely on the PS4 in the console's seven-year span as Sony's leading home console. So, with that in mind, when could Gran Turismo 7 get VR support?
Well, GT7 will likely get VR support when the new PlayStation VR2 headset launches. PSVR2 looks amazing, but right now, we don't have a release date for it. It is likely though that it will be sometime this year, probably around the holidays in November/December.
When PSVR2 launches, players will be able to experience and virtually jump into the cockpit of the most detailed and beautiful cars in the world in GT7!
