Rocket Racing brings the Rocket League action to Fortnite. With a wide range of tracks, cars, and other accessories available, thereās plenty for players to do. Itās even possible to share cars between Rocket League and Rocket Racing, but how do you transfer your cars between the two games?
A shared experience
Rocket Racing is essentially Rocket League but on a racing track. With all the same core mechanics, it provides a real feeling of familiarity for players. The ranking system is also the same, with players able to rank up in one game and then play at that rank in the other.
This shared experience also transfers over to the cars. Players can take a selection of their Rocket League garage over to Rocket Racing, with cars, decals, and other accessories unlocked in Rocket Racing also useable in Rocket League.
Cross-progress like this is fantastic to see, but surely itās incredibly complicated to sync your accounts together to make it work. As it happens, it really isnāt.
How to transfer cars from Rocket League to Rocket Racing
In order to transfer cars from one game to the other, all you have to do is link your Rocket League account to the same Epic Games account you play Fortnite on. Yep, itās that easy!
Once youāve done that, head into the Fortnite portal, select Rocket Racing, and youāll find your available cars have transferred over from Rocket League. Now youāve connected your two accounts together, the cross-progression will continue until you disconnect them. This means any progress in Rocket Racing will show in Rocket League and vice versa.
At the time of writing, compatible cars for transfer include the Octane, Cyclone, Jager 619, or Lamborghini Huracan STO. More cars will be coming in future updates, with Rocket Racing confirmed to be part of Fortnite for the long-term.
