With the full launch a week away at the time of writing, Gold Edition players are already exploring everything this game has to offer.

We have had a lot of fun with TDUSC, as you can read in our Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown review, but is that fun limited to playing in online lobbies made up of players on the same consoles?

Is Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown crossplay?

For those that don't know, crossplay, also known as cross-platform play, allows players on different platforms to join the same online lobbies.

So, for example, if you're on PS5 and your friends are on Xbox, you can play in the same online lobbies as each other if the game has crossplay.

So, with that in mind, will Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown have crossplay?

Unfortunately, KT Racing has yet to confirm if Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will have crossplay support. Crossplay support is also not mentioned on the game's official Steam page. And at the time of writing, there is no crossplay option visible in the game's options menus. It appears that there is no crossplay for TDU Solar Crown.

Solar Crown features a 1:1 recreation of Hong Kong, so tearing around the streets of the famous East Asian city will be fun regardless of whether crossplay is added or not. So, if you're interested in the game, make sure you pick up a copy using the button below.
