Is Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown online only?
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will recreate the East Asian city of Hong Kong Island within the virtual world. This will be at a 1:1 scale, so TDUSC will have a large map to roam around in by video game standards.
This all makes sense when you realize that TDUSC is effectively a car MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game. You and your friends will be roaming around the Hong Kong map at all times.
Because the game is designed to be a social MMO, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be online only, so your PC or console will need to be connected to the internet to play the game. As a result, there will be no offline single-player mode.
"These social features require an infrastructure that is constantly connected to online databases: leaderboards, races, inventories, moderation, live events, anti-cheat measures, and the overall game experience. An internet connection is therefore required to play TDUSC," KT Racing wrote in a blog post.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown has had many trailers, and the most recent release date Trailer is the most important yet.
This trailer gave us another sneak peek at gameplay as well as confirming the release date, which is September 12. Those who pre-order the Silver Streets or Silver Sharps get two days of early access from September 10. Gold Edition players get seven days of early access from September 5.
