One of the first 2023 racing game releases is fast approaching: Monster Energy Supercross 6. The sixth entry in the Supercross series is shaping up to be a huge improvement over last year’s Monster Energy Supercross 5.
One of the standout new features is a free-roaming environment known as the Supercross Park, which is showcased in the latest gameplay trailer.
Practice your skills in Monster Energy Supercross 6's Supercross Park
The new Supercross Park gives you the freedom to explore and hone your skills in an expansive free-roaming environment, whether you ride alone or with friends.
There are five different areas, each filled with huge jumps and original tracks to explore from a quarry and stadium to an airport with hangers and abandoned aircraft providing stunt opportunities.
A new FanFest area also includes missions to tackle hosted by seven-time Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath, who is your personal coach.
If you're used to driving on four wheels in racing games, adapting to bike games can be daunting. To ease the difficulty for newcomers, Supercross 6 will include a series of interactive tutorials and challenges.
As well as the free-roaming area, Supercross 6 also features a new Rhythm Attack mode, where players compete in short 1v1 shootout races on a straight section in split-screen multiplayer.
In a first for the series, Supercross will support cross-play online multiplayer across every console. Not only can players race together on every platform, but custom helmets and tracks can also be shared online across platforms.
After five entries, the Monster Energy Supercross isn't showing any signs of running out of steam yet.
Release date
