MotoGP 22 June update adds Red Bull Rookies Cup

Yesterday saw the announcement of SBK 22, the first official Superbike World Championship game in ten years. It’s one of five motorcycle game IPs developed by Milestone, including MotoGP, Ride, MXGP, and Monster Energy Supercross.

Somehow, the Italian studio has found time to add more content to MotoGP 22 in post-release updates.

Red Bull Rookies Cup

After the last update added an online Race Director mode, the Red Bull Rookies Cup has arrived in MotoGP 22 with the latest update.

Slotting below the Moto3 category, Red Bull Rookies is the slowest MotoGP class, which is ideal for beginners getting started with MotoGP 22. Red Bull Rookies were also added to MotoGP 21 in a post-release update.

Other changes in the update include updated Moto3 riders and bikes for the 2022 season. This follows May’s update that added 2022 MotoGP riders and bikes.

The update also improves the performance of AI riders at the start of races and includes updated 3D face scans of Luca Marini and Enea Bastianini.
