MOZA Racing has confirmed a partnership with Automobili Lamborghini’s esports racing team in exciting news for sim racing fans. The partnership includes providing hardware and support in a landmark moment in the sim racing world.
Leading forces
MOZA is fast becoming the new leader in sim racing technology. Moving into the void left by Fanatec’s recent decline, MOZA continues to produce high-quality, reliable racing hardware, and that’s clearly been noticed in the esports scene.
Lamborghini has moved to secure a sponsorship deal with MOZA. This deal sees MOZA partner with the Italian manufacturer’s esports team, providing hardware and support to Lamborghini’s virtual drivers, as well as supplying equipment for Lamborghini’s racing competitions, including The Real Race Super Trofeo Esports Championship.
This partnership highlights the unique attributes that set both MOZA and Lamborghini apart from the rest. A company known for its innovation and top craftsmanship teaming up with one of the most prestigious car manufacturers in the world is a great sign for the future of sim racing, but not necessarily if you support a rival team!
Celebrating collaboration
The MOZA-Lamborghini partnership was commemorated at the recent Lamborghini Arena weekend held at Imola. This event, taking place on 6-7 April, featured a simulator zone where players could complete laps in Assetto Corsa Competizione while using MOZA hardware.
Alongside the sim racing setups, Lamborghini also displayed their latest models for car enthusiasts to explore, along with providing the opportunity for those wanting to enter the world of sim racing to network with others in the scene.
Lamborghini also announced over the weekend that registrations for their Real Race Super Trofeo Esports 2024 series will be opening on 22 April for any interested parties. This series uses the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 in Assetto Corsa Competizione to create a highly competitive racing season for racers.
Anyone interested in competing this year can sign up via Lamborghini’s esports website. Both Lamborghini and MOZA are promising more major announcements in the future regarding their partnership, so it appears this is just the beginning of an incredible collaboration.
