MX vs ATV Alive free on Xbox Games with Gold in April

Last week, THQ Nordic announced MX vs ATV Legends is landing on PC and consoles in May. A sequel to 2018's MX vs ATV All Out, Legends is the seventh game in the long-running MX vs ATV off-road racing series.

If you’ve never played an MX vs ATV game before, you’re in luck because MX vs ATV Alive is free for Xbox Games with Gold members in April.

From 16 – 30 April, Games With Gold subscribers can download the Xbox 360 dirt bike racer MX vs ATV Alive for free. Normally, MX vs ATV Alive costs £19.99 on the Microsoft game store.

Xbox Games with Gold members can also download Another Sight, Hue, and Outpost Kaloki X in April.

Originally released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2011, MX vs ATV is the fourth game in the series with a variety of customisable dirt bikes and ATVs to race on mud, sand, or snow.

The action is intense, while the dual controls allow you to control the bike and rider independently using both analogue sticks for greater precision.

At the time, MX vs ATV Alive was criticised for its lack of content. It was initially released at a lower price with less content, with the option to add more tracks and vehicles via DLC.

MX vs ATV Legends release date

The timing of MX vs ATV Alive’s Xbox Games for Gold promotion is no coincidence, as MX vs ATV Legends is coming to PC and consoles around one month after the deal expires on 24 May.
