After months of rumours and leaks, EA has finally revealed Need for Speed Unbound in an official trailer slightly earlier than expected.

As leaks have alluded to, Need for Speed Unbound adopts an unusual art style mixing realistic cars and environments with cartoony visual effects and comic book-style characters.
“Race against time, outsmart the cops, and take on weekly qualifiers to reach The Grand, Lakeshore's ultimate street racing challenge,” the trailer description reads.
“Pack your garage with precision-tuned, custom rides and light up the streets with your style, exclusive fits, and a vibrant global soundtrack that bumps in every corner of the world.”
As we saw in the leaked screenshots, American rapper A$AP Rocky appears in the trailer as an in-game character. The trailer also confirms Need for Speed Unbound is set in a new location called Lakeshore inspired by Chicago.
The trailer was originally scheduled to release at 4pm BST but appears to have been published early. The game’s official artwork was also published early on EA’s official website. We should find out more gameplay details at 4pm.
Release date
The trailer confirms Need for Speed Unbound is coming to coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and but will skip PS4 and Xbox One.
Need for Speed Unbound will release on 2 December according to the trailer. However, players can get three days early access on 29 November by pre-ordering the game along with exclusive Need For Speed Unbound items.
