Rennsport's Open Beta has a release date and it could be sooner than you were expecting!
Rennsport continues to be in development ahead of the game's full release, but the commencement of its open beta is a huge step towards the big day.
Rennsport is a racing simulator that has huge potential, with plenty of fast cars and iconic racing circuits already confirmed for the game. So, what can we expect from Rennsport's open beta and when's it going live?
We've got everything you need to know about Rennsport's open beta right here!
Rennsport Open Beta
Rennsport has been in closed beta now for a long time, but the fact it's going into open beta soon is very good news. Whilst the closed beta has been vital in developing the final product, we haven't seen anything in terms of true gameplay from players.
That's one of the terms of closed betas, as participants need to sign a non-disclosure agreement and therefore cannot share any details publically.
The open beta is different though, as anybody can register for and take part in this event. The only requirement is that you have a PC powerful enough to run Rennsport.
The below post on Twitter from the official Rennsport account announced the open beta to the public:
The video in the Tweet showed us exciting and dynamic footage from the game and confirmed that the open beta will begin on July 10, just a week after this post was made.
How do I play the Open Beta?
Taking part in the closed beta was far from straightforward, as you'd have to register to get a beta key on Rennsport's website and hope you'd get lucky when the next round of beta keys dropped.
The open beta is much simpler, though, as all you need to do is head over to the Epic Games Store on the open beta release date and download the game. You can add the game to your wishlist now in anticipation of this.
As for the content included in the beta, nothing has been confirmed by developers Teyon. However, we can make some assumptions going off the video that was posted to confirm the open beta.
Some circuits that are visible include Nurburgring, Monza and Fuji. As for the cars, the BMW M Hybrid V8 Hypercar is also shown prominently.
