The new Screamer Career Mode trailer confirms something many had already predicted: Milestone is going for a unique and incredibly captivating Career Mode, with a compelling storyline, sub-stories, well-written and defined characters, all set in an astonishing-looking dystopian world.

This trailer showcases the plethora of vehicle options you have in the game, and how each car is an extension of its driver. The car's unique abilities and handling reflect the characters in a very authentic way, showcasing their style and personalities in the way they race.

Story and gameplay go hand-in-hand, as while players are learning how to master the cars and the game's controls in tutorials, they are also discovering the characters' backstories, learning their goals, personality traits, and unraveling substories.

The international actors add an extra layer or reallism and immersion to the characters, as they don't sound generic; on the contrary, they have realistic accents and speaking mannerisms. They do a fantastic job of showcasing what a setting with people from all over the world, with different backgrounds, upbringings, and moral values, looks like.

The beginning of the Career Mode does a great job at explaining to players the Echo System and Twin Stick mechanics, as well as giving players the necessary tools to learn the game. It prepares users for other game modes and events, while not being overwhelming or boring.

All in all, the trailer confirmed there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the Screamer Career Mode, especially for players who miss a racing game with a strong story-driven mode that can still deliver on the racing department.
