SnowRunner Season 10 Fix & Connect is out now as Saber Interactive continues to expand the popular snow-driving simulator.
Originally released in 2020, SnowRunner is one of the most challenging off-road driving simulations on the market. A sequel to Spintires: MudRunner, SnowRunner sees you take on cargo delivery missions where you drive a variety of trucks on rough terrain.
Here's everything players can expect in SnowRunner Season 10 Fix & Connect.
SnowRunner Season 10: Fix & Connect
SnowRunner Season 10: Fix & Connect brings new maps to explore with two new vehicles, as well as new activities.
Location
SnowRunner Season 10: Fix & Connect sees players travel to British Columbia for the first time with two new 4km² maps set in the summer.
After a destructive storm, new missions see you delivering generators and parts, setting up electric poles to reconnect the grid, and fixing ferry boats and other infrastructure such as the weather station.
These missions will be carried out in a variety of landscapes from log stations and sawmills to farms and silos.
It's a stark contrast to Season 9: Renew & Rebuild, which was set in Ontario, Canada with you playing as a firefighter restoring towns destroyed by a devastating wildfire. Set in two massive 4km² maps, missions ranged from clearing logs to securing damaged buildings and delivering materials.
Vehicles
To help you reconstruct British Columbia and conquer the wilderness, Season 10: Fix & Connect includes two new rugged vehicles: the Mack Defense M917A3 and Kenworth 963.
The Mack Defense M917A3 is described as "a superb, fresh-off-the-line off-road truck that shines with its durability," while the Kenworth 963 is "a massive, behemoth of a truck capable of dealing with anything you throw at it."
A free content update also adds ten new cosmetics and a big crane add-on for all players.
Release date and price
SnowRunner Season 10: Fix & Connect is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. It was released on 18 July, nearly five months after Season 9, and costs £5.99/$6.99 on Steam, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, and £5.79 on PlayStation.
Year 3 Pass
SnowRunner Season 10 will be available to buy standalone with pricing to be confirmed or as part of the Year 3 Pass or 3-Year Anniversary Edition for free.
SnowRunner's Year 3 Pass gives you access to four expansions including Season 9: Renew & Rebuild, Season 10: Fix & Connect, Season 11: Lights & Cameras, and Season 12: Expansion 3.
The SnowRunner content roadmap confirms that Season 10, Season 11, and Season 12 are on the way in 2023.
With at least three more Seasons in the pipeline, Saber Interactive's support for SnowRunner is clearly showing no signs of slowing down this year, so fans have lots to look forward to.
Available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, the Year 3 Pass will set you back £19.99/$24.99.
If you’re planning to play every expansion, the Year 3 Pass is by far the cheapest way to get all four expansions as each expansion costs £5.99/$6.99 to buy separately.
