Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 7 Release Window

Season 7 of TDU Solar Crown does have a definite release date. However, developers are targeting either the last week of August or the first week of September for the release.

We will get a confirmation on the exact date as the window approaches. That's if it does not get delayed again.

The Nissan GT-R R34 Skyline V-Spec II is the only one of the seven cars confirmed for the update. It'll be available as a level 15 reward for the Solar Pass.

Of the remaining six, only two are new to TDU Solar Crown, and the rest are based on existing in-game vehicles.

KT Racing revealed some major changes coming to TDU Solar Crown with the Season 7 update.

First, the online store will have several tweaks. Starting with the update, you'll be able to purchase all items in a bundle individually.

The game is also eliminating some FOMO elements. Exclusive items and bundles from the last seasons on the online store will permanently be available to all players.

There will be price changes as well. While bundles will see a price reduction, Solar Pass will increase from 600 Diamonds to 1000 Diamonds.

Yes, making the battle pass pricier is exactly what you wouldn't want an already struggling title to do.

However, KT Racing mentioned that Solar Pass will also reward Diamonds, but after some time after Season 7.

Outside of the economy, there will be adjustments to camera and FOV as well.

Arriving mid-season, the new FOV/height for the third-person camera can be switched between the old and new improved views.

ORC was one of the features announced earlier for Season 7 along with the roadmap. Unfortunately, with the rough times both the racer and publisher are facing, it won't be arriving anytime soon.

More details won't arrive until after Season 8.
