Ubisoft's 2024 Forward event has outlined the roadmap for Year 2 of The Crew Motorfest.

The Crew series is no stranger to Ubisoft Forward, as crucial The Crew Motorfest details were confirmed at last year's event. History has repeated itself in 2024, as plans for the second year of updates have been confirmed.

With The Crew Motorfest approaching its first anniversary, players were eager to learn the roadmap for the game's second year. They won't be disappointed, as this showcase was packed with new content on the horizon.

We've got everything you need to know about The Crew Motorfest's Year 2 roadmap right here.

The Crew Motorfest Year 2 Roadmap

The start of Year 2 of The Crew Motorfest was more than hinted at during the game's last update. Season 4's Donk v Lowrider Playlist is the last seasonal update of Year 1 of the game.

The Crew Motorfest has proven a hit with fans and critics, so the chance of Ivory Tower stopping development after the first year was never going to happen.

The first reveal is that The Crew Motorfest's Map is getting a big expansion. A whole new island, Maui, will be added in November 2024 for free as part of Season 5.

We got some brief but beautiful glimpses of the landscape, with lush fields, beaches, waterfalls, jungles, and an erupting volcano all visible on Maui. Maui will add 345km of roads, with 229km of asphalt and 190km of dirt roads.

As for the racing content, the Made in Japan playlist is getting a sequel, as Made in Japan 2 will be included in Season 5.

Season 6 and 7 were also confirmed, but no further details were revealed. We know their release windows however: Season 6 and 7 will arrive in March 2025 and July 2025, respectively.

The Chase Squad

After that, Ubisoft showed a trailer for a new Chase Squad game mode in The Crew Motorfest.

While no specific details were given, it's safe to assume this is a game mode where you attempt to evade the Hawaiian police at night, with visual effects reminiscent of Need for Speed Unbound.

If you want to see for yourself, you can check out the reveal trailer below:

We're certainly interested to see what this could bring to the table, as it could harken back to game modes we've seen in previous The Crew titles. The Chase Squad will be part of the Season 5 update in November 2024.

More details will be revealed in Ivory Tower's upcoming The Crew showcase event in September.
