Whilst braking and handling are important in racing, nothing beats pure speed down the straights. In Forza Motorsport, speed is the difference between pulling off that epic overtake, and being stuck in a train for the whole race. So what are the fastest cars in Forza Motorsport?

All about speed

Speed in racing is crucial. Although carrying speed through corners is beneficial, and therefore having a car with good downforce and handling is useful, we’re looking specifically at top speed in this list.

These are the cars you go to when you want to flex down the Kemmel Straight. The cars you want to charge down the Hangar Straight in. The cars you want your rivals to hear roar as you disappear over the horizon.

Now you may be expecting to see certain cars on this list. But for the most part, the list throws up some surprises. It’s also important to note that these are the speeds of each car at their stock specification. Once fully upgraded, these speeds may change, and therefore this list may also change.

Let’s take a look at the fastest cars in Forza Motorsport.

The fastest cars in Forza Motorsport

Like all good lists, we’ll count down the top five fastest cars. We’ll start with the slowest and work our way up to the pinnacle of speed.

5. 2021 Rimac Nevera

We’re going futuristic with our first entry. Rimac is building a reputation for building rapid eclectic cars, and the Nevera is the best example by a mile.

Electric will always beat combustion when it comes to acceleration, but the Nevera also manages to hit the heights when it comes to speed. Topping out at an incredible 258mph, it’s hard to believe this is the slowest car on this list!

4. 2019 Bugatti Divo

Just saying the name Bugatti these days evokes the feeling of speed. Modern Bugattis are built to go fast, and the Divo is no exception.

Despite having the best acceleration of any car in Forza Motorsport, the Divo only reaches a top speed of around 260-265 mph. This is only marginally slower than its sibling, however, which we’ll see shortly.

3. 2017 Koenigsegg Agera RS

Koenigsegg is another name that conjures the sensation of speed. The Koenigsegg Agera RS is the third-fastest car in Forza Motorsport.

Just like the Bugatti Divo, the Agera RS has a faster sibling. We’ll come back to it soon, but you may already know what it is.

2. 2018 Bugatti Chiron

Who knew when the Bugatti Veyron was built that it would one day be upstaged by its own siblings? The Bugatti Chiron is as intimidating on track as its name sounds, with its incredible W16 engine outputting an eye-watering 1,580 hp.

The Chiron narrowly falls into second place in Forza Motorsport. Despite a blistering speed of almost 270 mph, there is one car that just about beats it out.

1. 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko

Yep, you guessed it. The Koenigsegg Jesko is just pure speed. Maxing out at 273 mph, the Jesko is definitively the fastest car in Forza Motorsport.

Believe it or not, the Jesko actually has slower acceleration compared to the Chiron. Its weight and aerodynamics see the Jesko soar ahead down the straights.
