It’s an exciting week for Forza fans. In two days, Turn 10 will finally lift the bonnet on Forza Motorsport at the Xbox & Bethesda Developer-Direct stream, where we’ll likely see new gameplay and find out the release date. But that’s not all.
Playground Games has announced the next Forza Monthly will take place a day later providing a deep dive into Forza Motorsport and a first look at the new Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive Series.
2023 Nissan Z confirmed for Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive
Set to take place on Thursday 26 January at 9am PT / 5pm GMT, the first Forza Monthly of the year will focus on Forza Motorsport.
With Forza Motorsport gameplay being shown at the Xbox & Bethesda Developer Direct the day before, we’ll likely get a further deep dive into the game from Turn 10.
After that, the first Let's ¡Go! will stream at 10.30am PT / 6.30pm, showcasing the new Japanese Automotive series starting on 2 February. There will also be tributes to the late Ken Block, who featured prominently in the Forza Horizon series.
With the next Series celebrating all things JDM, a teaser image for the stream confirms the 2023 Nissan Z will be one of the new Japanese Automotive reward cars.
First look at Forza Horizon 5 Expansion Two?
Late last year, Playground Games promised to unveil Forza Horizon 5 Expansion Two in early 2023. This seemingly could happen in the Let's ¡Go! stream as the teaser previews a new underground car park location.
This could either be a new location in Expansion Two or a new Horizon Story in Japanese Automotive where you practice your drifting skills. Either way, all will be revealed on Thursday.
