The front of the F1 grid is as unpredictable as it has been in quite some time, which means Codemasters has a tough job with its F1 24 driver ratings.
A new update for driver ratings is hitting the game as part of Season 3. These ratings take into account the season up to and including the Italian Grand Prix.
McLaren Moving Up
McLaren has now taken the lead in the Constructors' Championship and they don't look like relinquishing it any time soon. With the pace of their car and quality driving, it's no surprise to see both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri gain in this performance update.
Norris has gained +3 in his experience and +1 in both awareness and pace for an OVR boost from 90 to 91. Piastri meanwhile has had a huge leap. He got +9 experience, +1 race craft, +8 awareness, and +1 pace to give him a +2 boost to OVR and move him up to 87 OVR.
Lo-gone Sargent
The now ex-Williams driver has remained in the game, but unsurprisingly his rating has dropped. While he picks up a +9 to experience, Sargent gets a -1 to race craft, -2 to awareness, and -2 to pace to give him a total -1 and a new low of 68 OVR.
