Week 4 of the V10 R-League sees some teams wrap up their group stage play.
Table of Contents
One of those teams is YAS Heat, who take on the hot & cold Red Bull team in a crucial Group A match. Who will come away with the points?
Building pace
YAS Heat entered the V10 R-League this season with a brand new lineup. While all three of Simon Weigang, Manuel Biancolilla, and Cedric Thome are seasoned esports pros, they have never taken on something like the GRS V10 '20 before.
But they've slowly been gathering momentum this season, picking up at least a point in every match and finally claiming their first win against R8G Esports last week. Sitting on 5 points after three matches, a draw will keep YAS Heat's playoff dreams alive.
Which Bulls will we get?
Red Bull started with a 4-0 defeat to Redline, but then bounced back with a 3-1 win over the in-form Aston Martin team. So which team will turn up to this one?
defeat in this match would eliminate Red Bull from the V10 R-League, which would be a huge upset for one of the pre-season favourites. However the team is not bullet proof, and their pace has been inconsistent from track to track as well as week to week.
Prediction
Both teams know that everything is on the line, but who will crack?
We've already seen the pressure get to Simon Weigang this season as he lost it on the final lap in Monza, throwing away a crucial point. Has that toughened the team up or exposed a weakness? We'll have to wait and see.
Red Bull certainly has the ability to take a big win here and secure their spot in the playoffs, but it will require them to be at their best. That has not always been possible for Red Bull, even in Season 1.
Track selection will be key here. Last week Joni Tormala showed his pace around Mugello, so Red Bull shouldn't be too scared there, but YAS Heat has shown a love for both Italian tracks, so they will be more than happy to see the Tuscan rollercoaster too.
Prediction: Red Bull 2-2 YAS Heat
