This week saw the release of a major Gran Turismo 7 update with a raft of new content. Update 1.19 adds three legendary cars including the Porsche 918 Spyder '13, Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder, and Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette. New Menu Books are also added along with new events to expand the single-player campaign. But the real highlight is a new Scape that lets you place your car in a Tomica toy town.

There are also a ton of changes you may have missed in update 1.19 that bring some much-needed quality-of-life improvements.

F1 22 handling changes

Codemasters released a new update for F1 22. Sadly, update 1.06 doesn’t fix the AI straight-line speed issues that are frustrating the community, but it does change Kevin Magnussen’s eye colour.

More notably, update 1.06 makes some changes to F1 22’s car handling. Engines have less torque at lower RPMs, the gear ratios are longer, and tyre temperatures have been tweaked. These changes make F1 22’s cars more satisfying to drive.

In the meantime, Codemasters is still investigating the AI straight-line speed issues.

With July ending this week, we were starting to wonder when the second wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC will arrive. Nintendo broke the silence this week, revealing the tracks featured in Wave 2 and a release date.

Wave 2 will be available next week, bringing eight fan-favourite tracks to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from Kalimari Desert to Waluigi Pinball. Sky-High Sundae is also debuting in the Booster Course Pass as a brand new Mario Kart track. This is the second of eight planned DLC Waves releasing by the end of 2023.

With Nintendo supporting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe until then, don’t get your hopes up for Mario Kart 9 arriving any time soon.
