The World Rally Championship is hands down one of the most exciting motorsport series out there. The same goes for the official video game too, as it's always been fun to play.

WRC 11 could see the return of special editions for the game as well. So, let's take a look at what we can expect later this year.
No special treatment in 2021
Despite there being both Standard and Deluxe Editions of WRC 9 available, we didn't see any for WRC 10. WRC 10 launched with a Standard Edition as the only version of the game.
That meant no Deluxe Edition, so everybody would have access to the same content, regardless of which version they purchased. This also coincided with a price drop for WRC 10, which we could see continue into this year's game.
Consoles & release date
We're pretty much certain that WRC 11 will be launched on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC systems. However, it's not clear as to whether 11 will also launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
At the moment, games are still being developed for both old and next-gen systems. So, for now, we have to assume this will continue to be the case for later this year.
As for the release date, we expect this to be early September to keep it in line with WRC 9 and 10.
WRC 11 Deluxe Edition
If we do see a return to Deluxe Editions for the official WRC game, this is what it would look like. Assuming the standard edition remains Ā£44.99 for PS5 and Series X|S, the Deluxe Edition would like retail for Ā£49.99 on launch day.
For PC and PS4 and Xbox One, the Deluxe version would cost around Ā£44.99 if that price structure is maintained.
As for content, WRC 9 included an exclusive rally car, rally stage and an XP boost in the game's career mode. If the Deluxe Edition returns for 11, we'd expect to see something similar.
