Originally slated for release in a couple of weeks on 13 October, WRC Generations has been pushed back until November.
New WRC Generations release date
On Twitter, Kylotonn Games explained that the console versions of WRC Generations have been delayed a few weeks until 3 November.
This means the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC versions will now release simultaneously. Before, the PC version was due to arrive a few weeks later than the console games.
The Nintendo Switch version still doesn’t have a release date, but it will likely arrive a few months later like WRC 10.
Kylotonn says the delay will allow the team extra polishing time and "allow the best possible experience to be offered to gamers, especially for the new Leagues mode."
Deluxe Edition
With the release date now set, Kylotonn has revealed the contents in the WRC Generations Deluxe Edition.
Available to pre-order now, the WRC Generations Deluxe Edition (known as the Fully Loaded Edition) includes Sébastien Loeb's Citroën C4 WRC as well as two liveries for Romain Dumas' Porsche 911 GT3 RS RGT.
Also included is a selection of Livery Editor bonus items, a Career Starter Pack, and three free months to WRC+ All Live.
Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition also gives two days early access to WRC Generations on 1 November.
Pre-order bonus
The Deluxe Edition is loaded with content, but those who pre-order the standard edition won’t miss out. Players who pre-order will receive Marcus Grönholm's iconic Peugeot 206 WRC.
Release date
WRC Generation is Kylotonn’s final game in the WRC series. With new Rally1 hybrid cars, a revamped career mode, and 165 special stages, WRC Generations is shaping up to be the most complete WRC game and a special send-off for the series.
We’re looking forward to getting behind the wheel when WRC Generations launches on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 3 November.
