Can F1 Managers drive in 2022?

Despite the racing pasts of Team Principles such as Christian Horner and Toto Wolff, you sadly won't be able to jump into the car yourself.

F1 Manager 2022, as the name suggests, is a management game, not an out-and-out racing game.

Think what Football Manager is to football, as cool as it'd be, your manager can't shed the suit and get onto the pitch themselves.

Plus, to drive a Formula 1 car, you need to have a Super Licence and owning one of these is extremely difficult. Even a lot of Formula 2 drivers struggle to get a Super Licence, something you may find out for yourself in F1 Manager 2022.

If one of your main drivers is unavailable, you should be able to sub in your test/reserve driver. This would mirror how we saw Nico Hulkenberg racing for Aston Martin for the first few races of the season in place of Sebastian Vettel.
