The US Grand Prix weekend saw Lewis Hamilton finally bring the fight to Max Verstappen, with a lack of laps remaining being the only thing stopping the seven-time World Champion. This week's F1 Manager 2023 Race Moment however gives you the chance to lead Hamilton to that elusive win in 2023.

The US Grand Prix wasn't necessarily the most exciting, but there was still a fair amount of action. Amongst the crashes, penalties, and retirements, Max Verstappen had to fight his way to the front of the grid.

What would normally be a routine win for the Dutchman however so nearly wasn't thanks to Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes driver was flying towards the end of the race, even after a questionable strategy call from his team, catching Verstappen at an alarming rate.

Had the race continued for another few laps, we might have finally seen Hamilton snatch victory this year.

This week's F1 Manager 2023 Race Moment is all about the second half of the US Grand Prix. Verstappen and Lando Norris have pitted, putting Hamilton into the lead of the race. It's now up to you whether to call Hamilton in for a new set of tyres or copy Mercedes and go for a one-stop race.

The full Back in the Saddle description is as follows:

“Lewis leads halfway through the US Grand Prix. Max and Lando have pitted, it's time to make a call. The two stop is inevitable and there's two compounds to use. Find a way to take Mercedes to the top step of the podium once again!”

F1 Manager 2023 suffers from its own ambition

As the first fully licensed F1 management series in over 20 years, F1 Manager is very limited when it comes to how the teams and cars are portrayed. This prevents Frontier from offering gameplay features that players are requesting, such as custom teams, which has then led to slow sales.

Despite Formula 1's growing popularity, the F1 Manager series is still struggling to get off the grid. To read more about how F1 Manager 2023 suffers from its own ambition, click here.
