It could have so easily been a win for Mercedes in Singapore, but running out of laps and running into the wall cost the Brackley team in the end. This week’s F1 Manager 2023 Race Moment gives players the opportunity to grab that Mercedes win in Singapore.
Singapore Sting Race Moment
An exhilarating race in Singapore was so nearly an elusive win for Mercedes. Hunting down both Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz, George Russell or Lewis Hamilton could have easily challenged for the win.
Sadly, Hamilton ran out of laps, and Russell ended up in the barriers after following Norris into the wall. Despite the final result, it was a mighty performance for the Mercedes drivers. The perfect strategy for both drivers had the pair hunting down the leaders by over two seconds a lap at one stage.
It was a real return to form for Mercedes, and now F1 Manager 2023 players have the chance to snatch the win. There is a slight twist on reality for this one, however. Lando Norris and George Russell have swapped places, meaning Russell is chasing Sainz for the lead, with Hamilton pursuing Norris.

“Red Bull are on the back foot and Mercedes sense a chance for glory. From 2nd and 4th, you must decide when to push on a treacherous track. Can you make the right calls to achieve a momentous result for Mercedes?”
