It’s a new year and also the start of a brand new Forza Horizon 5 series following last month’s Christmas-themed Winter Wonderland. Starting today, the Community Choice Summer Festival Playlist brings a host of exciting new challenges and fan-favourite cars chosen by the Forza Horizon 5 community.

Forza Horizon 5 Community Choice Summer
The Forza Horizon 5 Community Choice Summer festival playlist begins on Thursday 4 January at 2:30 pm GMT / 9:30 am ET.
You then have one week to collect as many rewards as possible until Thursday 11 January at 2:30 pm GMT / 9:30 am ET.
Running for four weeks, the Community Choice series brings back fan-favourite reward cars, challenges, and decorations voted by the community. In terms of series progress rewards, your 80-point reward is the 2020 Nissan GT-R and your 120-point reward is the 2021 Porsche 911 GT3.
Reward cars
This week’s season progress rewards are the incredible McLaren MP4-12C (20 points) and the alluring Aston Martin DBS (40 points).
Elsewhere, completing The Trial event unlocks the Plymouth Cuda. You can also win the 2009 BMW M5 and 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle in the Seasonal Championship. In addition, you can get three Super Wheelspins for a chance to win more exotic cars and a Grey Suit for your avatar in the EventLab challenge.
Expansion rewards
Expansion owners can win two extra cars. The Toyota 86 is the reward car for completing the Rally Adventure Seasonal Challenge, while the Audi RS3 can be won in the Hot Wheels Seasonal Challenge. Another two Super Wheelspins can be unlocked in the Rally Adventure Speed Zone and Hot Wheels Drift Zone.
Photo Challenge - #LamboLights
This week’s photo challenge sees you taking a photo of any Lamborghini at Aerodromo en La Selva at night. Your reward for this challenge is a Horizon Rush t-shirt for your avatar.
Treasure Hunt – Better Make Way
We hope you like treasure hunting because there are not one but two Treasure Hunts to complete for the first time in a Forza Horizon 5 festival playlist.
First up is the Better Make Way Treasure Hunt with the following clue: “Take this maker for a meander, 3.0 mi should do the trick!”
Treasure Hunt – Relighting The Fire
Next up is the Relighting the Fire Treasure Hunt, which has the following clue to solve: “The Firebird will win and win again, aiming for gold!”
