Autumn has arrived in Forza Horizon 5 Series 12 Horizon Road Trip. And with it comes another Treasure Hunt challenge to solve for the second week in a row. Here’s our Forza Horizon 5 Dune Buggy Treasure Hunt guide.

How to complete Forza Horizon 5 Dune Buggy Treasure Hunt

Thankfully, the Dune Buggy Treasure Hunt is an easy one. It starts with the following clue: “Only a buggy could get so muddy and leave your opponents across the country.”

As the name of the Treasure Hunt suggests, you’ll need a dune buggy. We used the 1969 Volkswagen Class 5/1600 Baja Bug. As the Autumn Festival Playlist is all about cross country, you need to complete any Cross Country race with a dune buggy to solve the clue.

Once you’ve finished first in a Cross Country race with a dune buggy, the next clue will pop up on the map highlighting the location area of the treasure chest.

Head to Dunas Blancas and you’ll find the treasure chest on the side of a desert road plain in sight.

Smash into the treasure chest to collect some Forza Points to spend in the Forzathon shop.

Series 12 Autumn

The Autumn season in Series 12 is all about Cross Country racing. This is reflected in some of the reward cars on offer including the Audi RS 7 Sportback '21 (20 points) and Toyota 4Runner (40 points).

Completing the off-road-themed season challenges will also unlock the Alumi Craft C.10, Bentley Bentayga, Toyota FJ40, Jeep Cherokee '14, and Chevrolet ZR2. There is also a Photo Challenge requiring you to snap a photo of the Jeep Cherokee '14 at the Horizon Baja Outpost.
