Winter has fallen in Forza Horizon 5, with the Horizon Wilds Takeover Winter Festival Playlist bringing fresh challenges and an array of reward cars up for grabs to expand your garage.

With the Rally Adventure expansion fast approaching, it's fitting that this week’s festival playlist includes two extreme off-roaders perfect for tackling rough terrain up for grabs.

The Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Wilds Takeover Autumn season starts on 16 March at 2:30pm GMT / 9:30am ET and ends on 23 March at 2:30pm GMT / 9:30am ET.

Reward cars

In keeping with the dirt racing theme, one of the season progress reward cars is the new-to-Forza Polaris RZR Pro unlocked when you achieve 20 points.

Brutal power, adaptable suspension and excellent agility make the Polaris RZR Pro a highly capable off-roader for tackling sand, mud, and rocks in Mexico. You can also get the #42 Extreme E at 40 points. This electric off-roader is the perfect partner for the Polaris RZR Pro.

That’s not all, because you can win five more cars in Festival Playlist challenges, starting with the legendary Audi Sport Quattro ’83. This AWD German sports car was the basis for the legendary Audi Sport Quattro S1 Group B rally car.

As a tribute to the late Ken Block, the Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Focus RS RX ’16 is the prize car for completing the Crop Circle Stadium Rally Event Lab.

Completing the two Seasonal Championships rewards you with the Opel Manta 400 ’84 rally car and BMW M3-GTR ’02. Finally, the Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 track monster is your reward for conquering the Hot Wheels seasonal championship.

In addition, you can also win multiple Super Wheelspins along with the Festival Sombrero clothing items for your player avatar by completing additional challenges.

Photo Challenge: #HorizonPulsar

This week’s #HorizonPulsar Photo Challenge requires you to snap a shot of the 1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R at Farid Rueda's Lion Mural in Playa Azul.

Completing the Photo Challenge earns you the Farid Rueda's Lion Tank Top clothing item.

Treasure Hunt: Pouncing Pumas

There’s also a Treasure Hunt to complete this week. If you want to win a bonus reward, all you have to do is solve the clue and find the hidden treasure chest on the map.

The Pouncing Pumas Treasure Hunt has the following clue to solve: “This big cat can ford a river over 100 m (328.1 ft) wide...”
