Winter has arrived in the penultimate season of Forza Horizon 5 Series 11: Rami’s Racing History, bringing with it a new Treasure Hunt to conquer. Our Forza Horizon 5 Race Against Time Treasure Hunt guide will help you solve the clue and find the location of the treasure chest.
How to complete Forza Horizon 5 Race Against Time Treasure Hunt
The Race Against Time Treasure Hunt has the following clue to solve: “Race like it's 1999 with a purrrfect finish.”
This is simple to solve: win a Road Race with the 1999 Ford Puma. No, we’re not talking about the modern-day crossover, but the classic sports coupe: specifically, the high-performance variant tuned by Ford Racing.
If you don’t already own the 1999 Ford Racing Puma, you can buy it at the Autoshow for 20,000 credits, so it’s relatively cheap to obtain. You then simply need to win any Road Race with the Puma – we did the Reservorio Sprint located at the main Horizon Festival Mexico Outpost.
Win the race and the map will highlight the location of the treasure chest. It’s located roughly in the centre of the airfield. You’ll find the chest in between some trees on a grass verge. Smash into it to unlock 5,000 XP and 100 FP to spend at the Horizon Forzathon.
Series 11 Winter
There are nine classic cars from the 1990s and 2000s to unlock in the Series 11 Rami’s Racing History Winter Festival Playlist. These include the Subaru Legacy RS (20 points) and the Jaguar XJ220 (40 points).
Other reward cars include the Ferrari 575M, Ferrari F355, Honda S2000, Volvo 850, Nissan GT-R '02, Nissan Silvia '00, and Audi RS 4 '06. As a bonus, you can win the Meyers Manx FE beach buggy if you complete every chapter in Series 11’s Made in Mexico Horizon Story.
There is also a Photo Challenge requiring you to snap a photo of the 1997 Mitsubishi GTO under the Arch of Mulege.
