Forza Horizon 5 Retro Skills to Pay the Bills Treasure Hunt Guide

This week’s Treasure Hunt begins with the following clue: “Banking 25k requires serious skill back in the 80s. Do you rally think you can do it?”

To solve the clue, you’ll need to jump into a Porsche #65 Rothsport Racing 911 Desert Flyer and score 20,000 Skill points. The Porsche rally car costs 500,000 credits, so it’s not cheap.

Skill points in Forza Horizon 5 are earned by performing stunts, whether it’s drifting, jumping, near misses with traffic or smashing into objects. Chain these stunts together until you get a combo score of over 25,000 points. One of the easiest ways to do this is to go to the highway and repeatedly smash into the signs.

Once you’ve earned enough points, a clue showing the location area of the treasure chest will pop up on the map.

Drive up the dirt road, go through the gate and enter the area with the 1,000 XP board. You can find the treasure chest next to the building on the right at this location on the map:

Smash into the treasure chest to collect a bonus 100 Forza Points.

Horizon Wilds Takeover Summer Festival Playlist

As well as the Treasure Hunt, there are plenty of new challenges to complete in the Horizon Wilds Takeover Summer Festival Playlist. Completing challenges unlocks a plethora of reward cars.

This week, you can earn the iconic #2 Audi Sport quattro S1 Group B rally car (20 points) and BMW X6 M ’15 (40 points).

You can also expand your garage with the Honda Civic Type R '18, Hoonigan Ford Escort Group A, Ford Racing Puma ’99, Hoonigan Chevrolet Bel Air ’55, and Mosler MT900S #10.

There’s also a Photo Challenge to complete, with the #WildHorizons Photo Challenge requiring you to snap a photo of any Modern Rally car at the Horizon Wilds Outpost.
